These terms govern your use of furthread.com and any order you place with us. By placing an order you accept them.

Furthread is a small unregistered business owned and run by Goutham Gopakumar, Nakul Krishna and Gowri Venugopal, operating from SR Building, Ground Floor, Near Royal Exotic Garden, Near Gurumandiram, Pangappara, Thiruvananthapuram 695581, Kerala, India.

Our products

We sell clothing for dogs and nothing else. Our garments are printed with designs inspired by Indian motifs; they are printed textiles, not handcrafted or hand-blocked goods.

Colours can vary slightly between screens and between production runs of a natural fabric. Measurements in our size guide are the specification our garments are cut to, and are given in inches with a small manufacturing tolerance.

Safety and correct use

Our clothing is for supervised wear only. Never leave a dog unattended in any garment, and do not use our clothing as a harness, restraint or lead attachment point. Check that anything your dog wears is not too tight and does not restrict movement, breathing or toileting. Remove the garment if your dog shows any sign of distress or irritation. You are responsible for choosing the right size and for supervising your dog.

Orders and pricing

All prices are in Indian Rupees. Placing an order is an offer to buy; a contract forms when we accept and dispatch it. We may decline or cancel an order if an item is out of stock, if a price or description was listed in error, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we refund it in full.

Orders cannot be cancelled by you once payment is made. Delivery charges and any Cash on Delivery fee are set out in our shipping policy.

Returns, exchanges and refunds

Our refund policy forms part of these terms. In summary: we exchange free if a garment does not match our published size chart, and refund faulty or damaged goods supported by a 360° unboxing video sent within 24 hours of delivery. We do not accept change-of-mind returns.

Your account

If you create an account you are responsible for the accuracy of the details you give us and for activity under your account. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.

Content and photographs

All text, photographs and designs on this site belong to Furthread and may not be copied or used commercially without our permission. If you send us photographs of your dog, you confirm they are yours to share and you allow us to show them on our website and social media. Tell us any time if you want yours taken down and we will remove it.

Liability

We are responsible for supplying goods that match their description. We are not liable for injury, damage or loss arising from unsupervised wear, incorrect sizing chosen against our published chart, or use of a garment other than as intended. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
